Ghost across the lake - Monica Ramirez

      Gothic novelist, Ashley White, settles into her new cottage in the small town of Spearmint Lake, Michigan, intending to finish writing her work in progress and to spend the rest of the summer enjoying a much needed vacation by the lake. But her nights are haunted by a mysterious sound of water coming from an invisible source, and apparently the nearby cemetery is haunted by the ghost of a local cop killed twenty-five years ago. 

      When Ashley saves the life of a tourist, she finds herself in the middle of an old unsolved murder mystery, surrounded by dark secrets, unseen dangers, and new friends who only reveal half truths. 

      Obsessed with a ghost who's increasingly insistent on justice, and a killer whose mask is beginning to slip, Ashley has every reason to fear she won't survive until the end of the summer.
